Celebrating the 125th anniversary of the dedication of St Mary Magdalene's Church on July 18th 1883, we were delighted to welcome musical friends to join our choir in an orchestral eucharist. The Setting was Schubert's delightful Mass in G, and the anthem, Stanford's Jubilate in B Flat. The service ended on a festive note with the orchestra playing Strauss' Radetsky March. The celebrant and preacher was the Vicar, The Reverend Gordon Giles.
